Delhi-Patna Indigo Flight: The incident of drinking alcohol has come to light in Indigo flight going from Delhi to Patna. Before landing, the airline informed the air traffic control about the matter. On the Indigo complaint, two people were arrested as soon as the flight landed.
According to information, a passenger in flight 6E-6383 going from Delhi to Patna told the crew members that some people were drinking beer. On information, when the air hostess reached there, an empty can of beer was found in the pocket of the seat. After this the pilot was informed about it.
Consumption of alcohol is prohibited on domestic flights. On information, following the protocol, the pilot informed the air traffic control. As soon as the flight landed at Patna airport, the CISF staff present there arrested the two accused youths.

After the arrest, both were handed over to the airport police station. Breath analyzer test was also conducted for the accused, in which it was confirmed that they were intoxicated.
“Indigo had lodged a complaint that two passengers were found drunk on a flight coming from Delhi to Patna. We have registered a case after testing them with breath analyzers,” said Peter, SHO of Patna airport police station.
Airlines gave clarification
Many types of things were coming on social media regarding the incident, after which the airlines gave clarification. Indigo said “Incident in flight GE-6383 is being investigated by authorities. There was no brawl inside the flight as claimed by some sections in social media.”

This incident has come to the fore at a time when the matter of urinating on a woman in flight is in the limelight. A businessman named Shankar Mishra urinated on an elderly woman in an Air India flight coming from New York to Delhi. Shankar Mishra was intoxicated. The accused was arrested from Bengaluru on Saturday (January 7).
Prima facie the negligence of Air India came to the fore in this case. The accused was easily let go even after the complaint of the woman. After this, the woman wrote a letter to Tata Sons CEO Chandrasekaran complaining about the incident. On Sunday, Chandrasekaran had expressed grief over Air India not responding properly to the incident.
Was arrested for urinating
After the matter came in the limelight, the Delhi Police formed a team to arrest the accused and reached his house in Mumbai but the accused was not found there. After this, while tracing the location of the accused Mishra, the police arrested him from Bengaluru.
Accused Shankar Mishra used to work in the American company Wells Fargo. After the information about the incident came to light, the company fired him from his job.
